NY Art Book Fair..in September.
Cannot wait to attend this!
The Official Slinkachu Website
Torpedo art factory, Alexandria, Virginia.
Lovely place where there are public artists’ studio (all media and crafts). Multiple gallery spaces as well. Thanks to my friend who took me around the space!
Film watching on the street, with some game space and popcorn/drinks store on the side
Craft Land, providence, RI
Creative art store where they sell the handmade items of the artists. Each seller can only place their items for three months so that the store gets to introduce new artists. They even have the gallery space where they exhibit original works of the products in the store. Kind of cool. Reminds me of etsy stuff.
Honey and Clover, 2006, the movie.
Movie I recently watched.. I loved..
A story of art college students, based on Japanese manga. The lovely art genius Aoi Yu… love the delicate and subtle communications and heart language going on in the movie, but more than anything the exciting background of art.

my THE favorite animal in the world. Giraffe!
Searched the zoo that housed giraffe, and ran all the way to Rhode Island, Providence.
Beautiful town, beautiful park, and beautiful giraffe!
When I look at giraffe, I feel like they are like these beautifully patterned dinosaurs from the
ancient world. So lean, so graceful, so elegant, unique and beautiful.
…wish i could have giraffe in my backyard.
After this nice video by Hungarian Contemporary Architecture Centre, there will be more green spots in between, happy neighbours, red organic tomatos, seeds&hoes and urban gardeners out there. Easier done than said.
Gardens for community
<Bloom> project by Anna Schuleit
love it. installation at Massachusetts Mental Health Center, Boston, historic building. The artist wanted to convey the absense of flowers at psychiatric centers.
Porter mill studio, beverly, MA
What a discovery. Right nearby my hometown was this intimate artists’ community. They even have a cafe with easels to paint on the first floor.
Perfect for illustrators and crafts people.
